In 1967, Andy Warhol established his own print-publishing business, aptly named ‘Factory Additions’ where he would subsequently print series featuring some of his most recognizable
themes including Marilyn Monroe (Marilyn), Campbell’s Soup I and II and Flowers. The large format series of ten Marilyn Monroe prints was the first such series printed that same year, and the present work was created at Factory Additions to announce its release.
